The month of December has been a great opportunity for Bertram Chamber of Commerce to spread some Christmas cheer. Between hosting the Bertram Country Christmas and a business Christmas decorating contest, gathering for a potluck, blessing the staff at Bertram Elementary, and honoring local businesses, it has been quite a month of cheer. As the Bertram Chamber of Commerce continues to grow, there are already some exciting things planned for 2023.
Bertram Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month:
Congratulations to The Blend for being the November Business of the Month
Congratulations to The Globe, our Business of the Month for December
Bertram Country Christmas:
It was chilly, but still a beautiful day to be in Bertram as we celebrated Bertram Country Christmas 2022. With a kid's run and a parade, followed by a day of music, shopping, wine, and beer, there was something for everyone. The kids got to enjoy a special Kid's Zone created just for the little ones, and Santa was on hand throughout the day taking photos and jotting down those wishes. Congratulations to Bertram Elementary's third graders who won the ornament contest. They got to enjoy some special cookies delivered to their Christmas party.
Thank you to all who helped make this event a success. Our community was blessed by all the efforts.

Bertram Businesses Christmas Decorating Contest:
Mosaic Garden Treasures was the big winner of the business decorating contest. 2nd place went to The Nutcracker Station. Bertram Hardware & Supply placed 3rd and 4th place was Becky's. Honorable mentions went to Cherokee's Beauty & Blessings Hair Salon and Bertram Library Thrift Store. Thank you to all the businesses who participated, and we hope to make it even bigger next year!
Chamber Members Bless Bertram Elementary Staff:
Thank you to every business and individual who donated toward the Christmas gifts for the staff at Bertram Elementary. Because of your generosity, each staff member was able to receive a $25 gift card. What a blessing! What an awesome community!
Chamber Members Share a Christmas Potluck:
The regular monthly meeting was changed up a bit for December. The Board of Directors provided a holiday meal for the members, and the members contributed some delicious desserts. The program for the event was the Bertram Elementary 2nd graders who sang some adorable Christmas carols. The Chamber members joined them for The Twelve Days of Christmas (including the hand motions), and everyone had a great time.
Save the Date!
Mark your calendars now for the 2nd Annual Bertram Chamber of Commerce Banquet. More information coming soon.
